Cast and crew sign-up and auditions for The Great Passion Play in Eureka Springs will be held Sunday, Feb. 25, on the grounds of The Great Passion Play. Those interested in returning or becoming a member of the cast may apply between 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. that day.

Spotlight The Eureka Springs School District is one of 50 school systems in the state that were recently awarded a grant that will help students who need extra instruction in English Language Arts and math. A $162,000 grant allows the Eureka Springs district to partner with Bailey Instructional Group, which will provide high-impact tutoring sessions for students in all grades.

Arkansas filmmaker Jeff Nichols will serve as the opening keynote speaker at the 50th annual Arkansas Governor’s Conference on Tourism, taking place Feb. 25-27 in Jonesboro. The opening session is titled “Natural State Storytelling: A Conversation with Jeff Nichols.”
