No foul play suspected after body is recovered from Beaver Lake

The body of a Rogers man was recovered from Beaver Lake on Wednesday, April 29, Carroll County Sheriff Daniel Klatt confirmed.

In a news release, Klatt said first responders located the body of John Alton Campbell II in the Buck Mountain Area after dispatchers received a report.

In addition to the sheriff’s office, the news release said rescue personnel from Eureka Springs Fire/EMS and Grassy Knob Fire Department responded to the call.

Klatt said no foul play is suspected.
