The Eureka Springs Community Center Foundation has announced a leadership transition as its executive director moves on to pursue new opportunities.
“The Foundation extends its sincere gratitude for Anna Smedley’s dedication, service and leadership to the Community Center and the impact made during her tenure,” the foundation said in a news release.“While she will be greatly missed, we know she will always carry a deep love for and remain supportive of what the Community Center brings to our community.”
The foundation announced that Jessica Griffin will serve as the community center’s new operations director, beginning Monday, April 20.
“In this role, Griffin will report directly to the Foundation Board and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Community Center, including management of staff and maintaining fiscally responsible budgeting practices,” the news release said.
“This transition marks an exciting new chapter for the Community Center,” foundation board chair Tammy Bullock said in the news release. “Jessica has been part of the community center in a management role for the past few years, and we are confident in her leadership as we look forward to continued growth and strengthened community impact.”
The foundation will be seeking to hire a part-time position focused on grants and donor development in the near future, according to the news release.
“More updates will be shared as plans progress,” the release said. “The Eureka Springs Community Center Foundation remains committed to serving the community and expanding opportunities for connection, wellness and engagement.”
