Polls are open across Carroll County on Tuesday, March 31, for the Republican Preferential Primary Runoff Election.
There are two races on the runoff ballot in Carroll County: District 4 Justice of the Peace Hunter Rivett of Berryville and Cody Rogers of Omaha are seeking the Republican nomination for the District 6 seat in the Arkansas House of Representatives, and state Sen. Rivett received 47.68 percent of the vote across District 6 in the March 3 primary, with Rogers receiving 40.96 percent. There is no Democratic candidate for the District 6 seat, so the winner of Tuesday’s runoff will be unopposed in the November general election.
