A Carroll County Sheriff’s Office vehicle was involved in an accident on the Berryville Square on Tuesday, Dec. 27, that resulted in one person being transported to a hospital. According to an Arkansas State Police report, the CCSO vehicle driven by Hunter Brantley was responding to a call and traveling westbound along U.S. Highway 62 “with emergency equipment activated” at 11:40 a.m. when it collided with a second vehicle at the intersection of Public Square and Church Street.
The second vehicle was driven by Frances Eleanor Utt of Berryville, who was transported to a Harrison hospital by ambulance.
An investigation by the state police remains ongoing.
