Jose Alpizar Garcia of Eureka Springs High School is the recipient of one of two 2024 High School Scholarships awarded by the Mercy Hospital Berryville Auxiliary. Garcia plans to attend North Arkansas College and pursue his Licensed Practical Nurse degree. He is the son of Ronald and Sandra Lee. The other scholarship winner was Presley Gordon of Green Forest High School. Each will receive a $1,000 scholarship toward tuition.
