The Eureka Springs Blues Party kicks off with a high-energy, open-air concert in Basin Spring Park on Thursday, May 29. The Ben E. Keith Street Party brings three live performances to the bandshell, starting with Steve Jones at 6 p.m., followed by the Earl & Them Local Jam at 7 p.m., and wrapping up with blues powerhouse Patrick Sweany at 8:30 p.m.
As part of the Eureka Springs Entertainment District, guests are welcome to grab a drink and enjoy the music from the park or while exploring downtown. Lawn chairs are welcome, and the concert is free and open to the public.
Thursday also marks the opening of BluesLand in Basin Spring Park—the weekend-long hub of the festival. BluesLand features interactive art, live painting, yoga, a community art wall, photo booth, vendors, and other creative activities that continue through the weekend.
The Eureka Springs Blues Party runs May 29– June 1, with headline shows, late-night sets, and music all around town. For full details and tickets, visit www.eurekaspringsbluesparty. com.
