Jackson seeking 3rd term as circuit judge

Scott Jackson has announced his candidacy for re-election for a third term as 19th East Circuit Judge.

Jackson graduated from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 1989. He began his legal career with the Child Support Enforcement Agency in Magnolia. Jackson then entered private practice in Springdale before returning home to Carroll County in 1991. He was in private practice with his father, the late Paul Jackson.

Jackson served as Berryville city attorney from 1994-2008.

He served as the Green Forest City Judge from 1999-2014 and Alpena City Judge before being elected Carroll County District Court Judge from 2009-2014.

Jackson has served as Carroll County Circuit Judge since 2015.
