CS Bank promotes Myatt to chief credit officer

Jason Tennant, president and chief lending officer for CS Bank, has announced the promotion of James Myatt, the local bank’s senior vice president and Berryville market president, to the position of chief credit officer. Myatt will continue in his role as Berryville market president. Myatt has been with the bank since 2009 and has served as the market president for its location in Berryville since 2013.

Tennant stated: “It is always a great pleasure to acknowledge and promote leaders in our bank family. James’ vast experience within the banking industry makes him the ideal person for this new role in our growing bank. In addition, he has been instrumental in our bank’s continued success in the Eastern District of Carroll County. It is a privilege to work with James every day, and we are excited to see his advancement here at our company.”

Myatt served on the Arkansas Rural Development Commission in 2015 at the request of Rep. Jeremy Gillham, then Speaker of the House, and was reappointed in 2018 by Gov. Asa Hutchinson. Myatt also served as the president of the Berryville Chamber of Commerce board and is active in a variety of civic organizations, including Lions Club, Youth Bridge and the Cattlemen’s Association. He and his wife, Gwen, reside in the area and attend the First United Methodist Church of Harrison.

CS Bank is a $610 million bank with seven locations throughout Northwest Arkansas and Southwest Missouri and plans for continued expansion, including a second location in south Harrison.
