Several events are planned in Eureka Springs and across Carroll County in observance of Veterans Day.

Equity Bank in Berryville and veterans support organization Recon VI will hold their quarterly veterans recognition event at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 7, in the bank lobby. Several Carroll County veterans will be honored and lunch will be served.

A Veterans Parade will be held beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday in downtown Eureka Springs. The parade is a combined effort of American Legion Post 9 in Eureka Springs and Post 172 in Berryville, along with Berryville VFW Post No. 7518 and Recon VI.

Eureka Springs School District will hold its annual Veterans Day breakfast, sponsored by the high school’s FFA program, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, at the high school cafeteria.

All area veterans are encouraged to attend the breakfast, where FFA students will be serving Blue and Gold brand sausage and bacon, along with eggs and pancakes.
