The American Banker, the award-winning national monthly publication, named CS Bank as a 2025 Best Bank to Work for in America recipient.
CS Bank received accolades for its welcoming and uplifting approach, which fuels camaraderie and enhances productivity.
“Creating an uncompromising culture of staff engagement, fulfillment and impactfulness is paramount here at our company and I couldn’t be more honored to accept this award on behalf of our entire CS Bank family,” said Charlie Cross, chief executive officer of CS Bank. “Recognizing the significance each of our associates has on our bank’s success is at the forefront of all we do. Banking can be a bit of a commodity and one of the ways to separate yourself from the pack is to surround yourself with outstanding human capital who have a servant’s heart and commitment to excellence. It is certainly rewarding to see our staff be recognized for their resolve to maintain a workplace that is not only welcoming, but enjoyable to come to each day.”
Determining the Best Banks to Work For involves a twostep process. The first consisted of evaluating each participating bank’s workplace policies, practices and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25 percent of the total evaluation. The second consisted of employee surveys aimed at assessing the experiences and attitudes of individual employees with respect to their workplace. This part of the process was worth approximately 75 percent of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the final ranking.
“The Best Banks to Work For represent institutions helping employees achieve their goals,” said Chana Schoenberger, editor-in-chief of American Banker. “These banks recognize how important it is for their staffers to be happy about the work they do and the environment in which they spend their days. We’re proud to recognize CS Bank for powering its employees to fulfill their potential and wish them continued success.”
CS Bank is a $615 million Northwest Arkansas-based bank with seven locations throughout the area and plans for continued expansion, including a second location in South Harrison.
