Our loving mother, Gloria Lucille (Crow) Kelley, was born in Mulvane, Kansas on August 15, 1936 to Ben and Ida Crow. She departed this life on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at her home in Eureka Springs, Arkansas with family by her side at the age of 89.
On February 9, 1952 she was united in marriage to James H. Kelley. They were married for 51 years before his death in 2003. They had nine children together. Ralphie, Dale, Venita, Gerald Lee, Rita, David, Ronald, Diana and Glenda.
Gloria was a homemaker and worked on the farm that they owned. Some of her best talents were sewing, cooking, gardening, canning, and hosting family gatherings that always included food, laughter, and love.
She was a faithful member of the Eureka Springs Free Will Baptist Church where she was the church clerk for many years as well as a Sunday School teacher for a time. Gloria is survived by her children, Ralph Kelley and wife Connie, son-in-law Donald Roller, Gerald Kelley and wife Karen, David Kelley and wife Lavone, Diana Bohach and husband Chester, and Glenda Warner and husband Glen. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Albert Crow, and sister, Patsy Gage and husband Tom, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Ida Crow; three sisters, Ruth Arrowsmith, Helen Oldham, and Gladys Foster; and one brother, Wilbur (Bub) Crow.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, James H. Kelley; two sons, Ronnie Kelley and Dale Kelley; and two daughters, Venita Roller and Rita Brownlee; and one granddaughter, Kathleen Kelley.
