Early voting in the March 3 preferential primary and non-partisan judicial election will continue through Monday, March 2.
Early voting in Carroll County will be available from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Friday, Feb. 27, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, March 2, at First United Methodist Church, 400 Eureka Ave. in Berryville; St. Elizabeth Parish Center, 232 Passion Play Road in Eureka Springs; and the Green Forest Train Depot, 802 Broadway Ave. in Green Forest.
As of Tuesday evening, Feb. 24, a total of 1,357 voters had cast early ballots, according to Carroll County Clerk Connie Doss.
On Election Day, Tuesday, March 3, polls will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at six vote centers in Carroll County. Vote centers are located at Freeman Heights Baptist Church, 522 W. Freeman Ave., Berryville; St. Elizabeth Parish Center, 232 Passion Play Road, Eureka Springs; Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church, 9546 Highway 103 North, Green Forest; Green Forest United Methodist Church, 100 S. Springfield Ave., Green Forest; Holiday Island Country Club, 1 Country Club Drive, Holiday Island; and Osage Baptist Church, 16475 Highway 103 South, Alpena.
Absentee voting will be conducted through the Carroll County Clerk’s Office at 210 W. Church Ave. in Berryville, in the Carroll County Eastern District Courthouse. The deadline for the county clerk to receive absentee ballot applications in person is 4:30 p.m. Monday, March 2.
Voters whose registration lists their party affiliation as Democratic will not be allowed to vote in the Republican preferential primary.
Voters are encouraged to check their party affiliation listed on their voter registration before going to the polls and to make any necessary changes by filling out a new voter registration form. Voter Registration forms are available at http://carrollcounty.us/County-Clerk/#voterInformation.
