Echo will host its second annual MASH clinic from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 12.

This is a wonderful opportunity for those who have no medical insurance and and are currently not under care of a physician to get the medical care they need. There will be medical doctors and a dentist and optometrist available to provide totally free care. Free medications will also be available. Free laboratory work and X-rays will also be available as needed.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for the community,” said Dr. Dan Bell, Echo’s medical director. “We have medical and dental providers with over 300 years of experience offering their services for free.

“I encourage anyone in need to call and schedule an appointment as soon as possible,” Bell said. “Do this by calling 479-253-5547 and we will tie down an appointment for you.”

Unlike the old TV series, M*A*S*H, stands for “may all stay healthy.” The clinic is emphasizing preventive healthcare with examinations and laboratory work as needed to keep you healthy.
