Emma Gilmore, a 2025 graduate of Eureka Springs High School, medaled in the 200-meter backstroke and was first alternate in the breaststroke and 100-meter backstroke at the AAU Junior Olympics that concluded on July 27 in Houston. It was Gilmore’s third appearance in the Junior OIympics. She will be a member of the University of the Ozarks swim team this fall.
