A date has tentatively been set for the Eureka Springs City Council to have a workshop with members of the city hospital commission and administration regarding financial questions.

At the regular city council meeting held Monday, Aug 11, the council agreed to a “tentative” date of 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15, to hold the joint session.

The workshop was requested at the July 28 council meeting after council member Rachael Moyer brought up new questions regarding hospital’s June financial reports.

Other council members agreed, requesting that Cynthia Asbury, the hospital’s chief financial officer, attend the workshop to directly answer certain questions.

The workshop was originally scheduled to be held before the Aug. 11 council meeting, before being postponed.
