The Eureka Springs School of the Arts invites the community for an afternoon of creativity at the September Studio Stroll from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on the ESSA campus at 15751 Highway 62 West. This free, family-friendly event offers visitors the opportunity to explore the campus, step inside working studios, and watch artists at work.
Guests can mingle with local artists, ask questions, and see students and instructors bring projects to life. Highlights of this Studio Stroll include:
• Weaving on a Frame Loom with Dawn Ward — Students weave colorful threads into rhythmic patterns, exploring texture and design.
• Build a Viking Chest with Doug Stowe & Dale Custer — A unique collaboration between woodworking and blacksmithing, resulting in a handcrafted oak chest with custom-forged iron hardware.
• Metal Clay Bootcamp with Brandy Boyd — Experience clay transforming into luminous silver as students create textured and fired jewelry pieces.
The ESSA Studio Stroll is free and open to all ages. Light refreshments will be provided.
