A Eureka Springs man died Thursday, Oct. 30, several days after being struck by a pickup as he walked across a county road near Eureka Springs.

Robert Perkins, 79, was walking across Carroll County Road 302 near County Road 3023 at 1:48 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, when he was struck by a southbound 1994 Ford Ranger, according to an Arkansas State Police report.

The driver of the pickup is not identified in the report. Perkins was transported to Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, according to the report.
