A Berryville woman was killed in a single-vehicle accident Thursday, Jan. 15, on Main Street.

According to a report from the Arkansas Department of Public Safety, Heather A. Lehr, 56, was driving a 2023 Chevrolet Bolt westbound on Main Street at 11:35 a.m. when the car crossed the center line, left the roadway and struck a concrete wall.

The road was dry and the weather was clear at the time of the accident, the report says. Lehr became the eighth person to die in an Arkansas traffic accident in 2026. Lehr was a former employee and longtime volunteer with the Berryville School District.
