The 1886 Crescent Hotel & Spa marked the holiday season as a fixture of Christmas in Eureka Springs, with classic Victorian- style décor throughout the property, including lights, wreaths, and garland in the historic lobby and hallways, a visit from Santa on Christmas Eve, and a schedule of holiday events that brought visitors to the area. New in 2025, eight large Christmas trees were added to the fountain garden.
One such tradition is the Crescent Hotel’s annual Christmas Tree Forest, co-sponsored by Brashears Furniture. The display featured ten large trees decorated by local nonprofit organizations, with donations collected at each tree to support their work. Volunteer decorators worked with participating charities to create the displays.
Participating organizations this year included Answering the Call, People Helping People, Eureka Springs Community Center, Good Shepherd Humane Society, Cup of Love, Eureka Springs Boy Scouts, Eureka Springs Theater Company, Main Street Eureka Springs, Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge, and the Eureka Springs Preservation Society.
After the close of the display, the 2025 Christmas Tree Forest winners were announced:
• First Place: People Helping People
• Second Place: Eureka Springs Theater Company
• Third Place: Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge All participating charities received the donations collected at their trees, along with a $100 contribution from Brashears Furniture.
Now in its 17th year, the Crescent Hotel Christmas Tree Forest has raised more than $61,000 for local charities.
