Celebrate National Puzzle Day at the Carnegie Library on Thursday, Jan. 29!
Drop in anytime from noon to 5 p.m. in Meeting Room 2 to enjoy:
• Community jigsaw puzzle swap: Bring in your pre-loved puzzle(s) to exchange, or just stop in and pick up a new-to-you puzzle to enjoy this winter!
• Work on a group puzzle with others. The library will have a puzzle or two set up at a table for anyone who wants to sit and stay awhile to participate in puzzling with a neighbor or librarian.
• Free vegetarian soup: Hot soup will be available (until it’s gone!) starting at noon.
••• Secret Season Cinema: a foreign film fest at the Carnegie Library Boulevard Bookend venue. A different film will be screened at 6 p.m. each Friday during the month of February.
• Feb 6: “Seed of the Sacred Fig” from Iran, rated PG-13
• Feb 13: “I’m Still Here” from Brazil, rated PG-13
• Feb 20: “On Becoming a Guinea Fowl” from Zambia, rated PG-13
• Feb 27: “Sentimental Value” from Norway, rated R As always, admission and popcorn are free!
