First Christian Church of Eureka Springs to host GriefShare support group

A group of people come together in the basement of First Christian Eureka multiple times a year for one reason, because losing a loved one is a life-altering experience, leaving us feeling lost, overwhelmed and alone.

Don’t be alone. Join GriefShare where you will find support, comfort, and practical tools for navigating this difficult journey. A new 13-week session of GriefShare, a nationally recognized, biblically based grief recovery program, will begin on Sunday, Feb. 15. Pain can turn into hope and healing.

The sessions will run weekly from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. each Sunday at First Christian Church, 763 Passion Play Road in Eureka Springs. Come to the back of the building.

GriefShare is designed for individuals to find a way to proceed after the loss of a spouse, child, family member, or friend. The program offers a safe, non-judgmental environment where participants can find support from others who understand their experience. Each of the 13 sessions features a video seminar with experts, followed by a small group discussion, and includes a personal workbook for daily study.

Pre-registration is not necessary but for more information contact Roberta Smith at 402-651-7269 or email manna4life@cox.net.
