Student of the month
Amadeus Cummings, a senior at Eureka Springs High School, has been named the Eureka Springs Rotary Student of the Month for October 2025. Amadeus is the son of Jessica Ames-Russell and John Cummings. Amadeus is a member of Musical Theater and Drama, National Honor Society, Student Council, NAMI/GSA and College Prep Club. He serves as technical director of theater and joint president in the College Prep Club. He enjoys volunteering at the animal shelter, working the concession stand for sports and working the CS Bank parking lot. Amadeus is currently working as an office worker and zipline guide at Eureka Springs Zipline. He is also the spotlight operator at the Great Passion Play. He enjoys modifying his own clothes. After graduation, Amadeus plans to attend the Conservatory of UMKC as a theater design and production major.
