The family of the late Christopher Alvard will mark a grim anniversary in February 2023, but they’ll have to wait at least a little longer for the men accused of his murder to be tried in court. Carroll County Judge Scott Jackson on Monday set trial dates of Feb.

Another Carroll County resident has died from complications associated with COVID-19, bringing the pandemic death toll for the county to 116. The new death – the first in 21 days — was listed in a report issued by the Arkansas Department of Health on Sept.

Kylee Hevrdejs, Eureka Springs’ director of planning and community development and historic preservation officer, has submitted her resignation. “Sadly, that is true,” Hevrdejs wrote in a Sept.

The Carroll County Health Unit in Berryville will hold a free flu shot clinic from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 30, as part of the Arkansas Fights the Flu program sponsored by the Arkansas Department of Health.
