The Carroll County Senior Activity and Wellness Center is located at 202 W. Madison Ave. in Berryville. The center is open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday. Lunch is served at noon each weekday. The suggested donation for ages 60 and up is $4. There is a $6 charge for those under 60 and all carryout meals. Menus are subject to change.

The Inspiration Point Rural Fire Department Auxiliary will host a pancake breakfast fundraiser on Saturday, March 2, at the fire department at 31 Ozark Automotive Road in Eureka Springs. Breakfast will be served from 8:30 a.m.

In a significant transition that marks both an end and a beginning, the storied War Eagle Mill has been acquired by Mark Hall, previously owned by Elise Roenigk. This change of ownership, which took effect Feb. 16, opens a new chapter in the mill’s long and cherished history, with the War Eagle Food Group continuing under the separate ownership of Sam Sputo.
