New book features Carnegie Library
The Eureka Springs Carnegie Public Library is being featured in a new book by Arkansas photographers and writers Sabine Schmidt and Don House. “Remote Access: Small Public Libraries in Arkansas” was published by the University of Arkansas Press and Eureka Springs is one of 21 libraries from across the state that are highlighted in the book.

ESPD closes CAPC investigation
The Eureka Springs Police Department has closed its investigation into allegations of computer trespassing regarding the CityAdvertising and Promotion Commission, with no evidence of a crime being committed, police chief Brian Young said by email Friday, Oct. 14.

School district delivers annual report
Ahead of its regular meeting on Monday, Oct. 10, the Eureka Springs school district delivered its annual “Report to the Public.” Superintendent Bryan Pruitt said the yearly report is an important way to let parents and guardians know exactly what their children are working on in school.
