Quorum court OKs 2023 county budget

Local owners purchase Citizen, sister publications
Carroll County Community Media LLC has purchased the Lovely County Citizen, the company announced Monday. The company is a partnership between Citizen managing editor Scott Loftis, photographer David Bell and former Berryville Chamber of Commerce director Steve Johnson.

CS Bank adds customer care center
Charlie Cross, CEO of CS Bank, has announced the upcoming addition of a Customer Care Center to further support the local bank’s growing client base and geographical footprint. The Customer Care Center, located within the bank’s Berryville facility, will be responsible for assisting customers with daily needs and questions related to their banking, as well as support ing the new video teller platform being migrated to by the bank in its drivethrus later next year.

Great Passion Play celebrates Christmas
The Great Passion Play is hosting a drive-through Christmas light display through New Year’s Day on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from dark until 8 p.m. The by-donation, drive-through display features thousands of Christmas lights, a Christmas tree forest, several nativities and the entire set of the Passion Play lit up for Christmas on the way to the Christ of the Ozarks memorial statue.

The annual Carroll County fair association board meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, at the Carroll County Cattlemen’s building on the grounds of the Carroll County Fairgrounds. The purpose of the board meeting is to re-elect board members and prospective board members and 2023 officers. If you are interested in being part of the Carroll County Fair and Livestock Association, please make plans to attend this meeting.
