CS Bank recognizes board chair Cross for 7 decades in banking industry

CS Bank recently proudly recognized the chairman of its board of directors, John Fuller Cross, for reaching an extraordinary milestone: 70 years in the banking industry.

“Few individuals devote a lifetime to a single profession, and even fewer help shape an institution and community the way Mr. Cross has throughout his career,” CS Bank said in a news release.

“Beginning his career in banking seven decades ago, Mr. Cross has witnessed the industry evolve through generations of change. Yet through it all, his belief in community banking has remained constant. His leadership has always been grounded in the understanding that banking is not simply about transactions, but about relationships, trust, and a deep responsibility to the people and businesses who depend on their bank every day.

“Today, at 91 years old, Mr. Cross continues to come to work each day at CS Bank, a quiet but powerful testament to his enduring commitment to the profession he has served for a lifetime. His legacy is not measured only in years, but in the stability he helped build, the bankers he has mentored, and the local community that continue to benefit from his decades of leadership. We here at CS Bank salute him on this milestone and express our gratitude for his years of service.”

CS Bank is a $625 million, Northwest Arkansas-based bank with eight locations throughout the area and plans for continued expansion.
