2026 marks the 40th year that the scouts of Eureka Springs have proudly hit the streets and have helped fill the shelves of the Flint St. Fellowship foodbank. The local Boy Scouts, and Cub Scouts along with assistance from other caring people work together in a big way, and the scouts learn firsthand about the values of giving, sharing and community spirit. Starting on Saturday, Nov. 7, and during the following week, area Scouts are placing bags on your doorknobs; on Saturday, Nov. 14, they will be collecting these bags. Please have your bags with your donation on your front porch by 9 a.m. Saturday the 14th and the scouts will take your contributions to our local food bank, the Flint St. Fellowship.
Donations can include but not limited to: Non-perishable food items also hygiene items- toothpaste, deodorant, toilet paper detergent, paper towels, toothbrushes, bar soap and shampoo.
Also, let’s not forget our four-legged friends, and as always, your cash donations go a long way!
Food collected is for the needy of the Eureka Springs area. Thank you for your generous donation and your caring. Every little bit helps, every little bit adds up and suddenly becomes an incredible amount of food, of sharing and community pride.
Thank you for your kindness of giving and sharing and for being part of this year’s “Scouting for Food.”
