Exciting changes have taken place for the former Carroll County Community Orchestra. At the end of 2022, the group transitioned from CCCO to CCCB – the Carroll County Community Band. All who have enjoyed CCCO’s music and supported its opportunities for students over the past 16 years will be pleased to know that work continues with the Carroll County Community Band.
The Eureka Springs Hospital Commission will get to proceed with purchasing a new financial and operating system that will help them better meet required standards. At its regular meeting Monday, May 8, at The Auditorium, the Eureka Springs City Council approved a resolution that will allow the hospital commission to waive the standard bidding process and make a deal with a Kansas City-based company.
Elementary-aged students who will attend upcoming summer school in Eureka Springs will get to do it from the comfort of their homes. At the regular school board meeting held Monday, May 8, the Eureka Springs School Board voted to have elementary summer school virtually this year.
